How much $$ will you spend on fireworks this 4th?

Last year, because I wasn't paying attention, we spent over $90.

This year I plan on being much stingier, but I'd like to know a reasonable amount to spend.

Any body?

  • We always end up spending more than we plan. But this year we are not planning on spending much cause the kids have other plans with family.
But we usaully try to keep it around 50 but that never works out . it's usaully closer to 75 or higher.

  • Between us all probably like $400, that's the whole family. I might spend like $60 at the most.

  • we are only limited as to what type of fireworks can be used.. mostly large (over size) sparkly fountain types are ok, and we plan on spending about 40.00. We are not doing anything for the 4th family is coming up on the 11th so that is when we will do ...

  • $0 not only are they illegal and dangerous but every town in the area has free firework displays....and i'm talking about 20 ddifferent suburbs within 30 minutes of each other. I never even realized people spent money doing their own fireworks, seems like a complete waste of money!

  • None. Sun doesn't set until well after midnight so there isn't really any point.
