When did your baby start to crawl?

My daughter is 4 months and is starting to get the concept of crawling. she scoots around and pushes with her feet and knees but its not quiet "crawling" yet.. its more army style dragging lol.

  • 7 months. He was starting to scoot at 5 months but it was more of a dragging motion lol. It took him a while to realize he needed to move the legs too haha.

  • My first daughter did that army style dragging up until about 10 months. My second is now currently 6 months and has been getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth lol, which is something my first daughter never did so it's cool to watch. I keep thinking any day now she'll get one hand in front of the other and get going!

  • The day she turned 8 months. She just took off! She had been up on all fours and rocking. That's cool about your dd, but things get so much harder when they don't stay where you put them!

  • 1st never crawled, went straight to walking at 10 months.

2nd started crawling 2 days after he turned 5 months old. Then didnt walk until 13 months because he found it was easier to crawl.
