  • My 1 year old DS just had his appt yesterday. My doc pricked his foot for a little blood so they could check his iron level. Then they just talked about what he is doing now, milestones and such to make sure they are on track. Weight check, height and head circumfrence check. They check the ears, nose, eyes and throat. Check the genital area and ask how many times he poops a day. They will ask how much milk your Lo is getting a day. He got 3 vaccines. Chicken pox, hep B and and another shot that began with a P that I dont know how to spell. pheanmoniccal maybe? They will check the hips for his displasia. Thats really about it. Then they gave us a Turburulosis (sp) questionaire to fill out. Good luck!

  • And they will talk about weaning off of the bottle as well.

  • Ours was pretty much the same as others. No shots (15 months), weight, height, nutrition, gross motor, fine motor, speech (if any), mine were off the bottle so that wasn't discussed....just a regular well visit.
