Whats the best thing to use to clean a pool?

Hauled out the pool from last year and it's really dirty. What can i use to clean it besides water? Vinager?

  • Depends on what kind of pool it is. A small, hard sided kiddie pool can be cleaned by almost anything but if you've got a pool with a vinyl liner then you'll want to use water and a cloth or something that is approved for vinyl pool liners. Anything else can damage the liner or weaken it.

  • I always used bleach water on our kiddie pools since regular pools use chlorine (which is basically bleach). I love the smell of bleach on a vinyl pool, lol. Reminds me of summer in the pool.
