For me, there were four:

night and day bottle chiller and warmer
baby bjorn carrier
digital VIDEO monitor (love it!)

  • Def the bouncer. Before he was old enough to be on the floor If I wasn't holding him he was in it. He LOVED that thing.

  • I'd say Swing, Sling, bouncer, rocking chair.. Did not use wipe warmer, or diaper genie... waste of $$

  • Other than the necessities:

    Bottle microwave sanitizer
    Sling/Baby carrier (I had both)
    Electric breast pump

  • Boppy, and swing. And this teddy bear that plays music, by the time she was 6 months old she had to have that dang thing every time she went to bed, God forbid the batteries give out in the middle of the night and she woke up...

  • I've heard that the swing and bouncy chair both come in really handy going from one to two babies....I was wondering what would happen if both babies needed to be put to bed at the same time ;-)
