If a child gets a high fever when he is young(8), could it be possible for it to be a sign of a future health issue?

He is now 15 and hasn't had a high fever that high since. Things show up later in life, depending on how well prevention and care taken of oneself was at times. Was wondering!!!! What would cause a high fever like that?

  • I wouldn't think so. Also, you didn't say what the fever was. I would just think he caught a virus or something. If you are that worried, ask you son's doctor. That would be the only person that could give you an accurate answer.
