After they are too big for the baby beds

After your baby outgrew there baby bed, what size did you go to next? Did you go the toddler bed route? Or a full size bed and buy those side things that keep the child from rolling off. And how old was your child when you made the switch?

  • my oldest was 20 months when we switched him to a toddler bed, id say dont waste the money on one, we only used it because it was free. our crib also transistions to a daybed/toddlerbed, so when our youngest it around 20 months we will transission him.....

i say dont do a toddler bed becuase they are pretty expencive and the kid will maybe sleep in it 2-3 years.... id just do a twin/full bed and by rails

  • my son was 2 and we got him a twin size bed. it's low to the floor and we don't use the railings just put a pillow next to him. he hasn't rolled out or had any accidents with it since we got it.

  • If they grow out of the crib because of its size then skip the toddler bed. but if its for other reasons id go with the toddler bed my 22mth old had her first night in hers yesterday and she loves it she spent all day today climbing in and out of it. dont get a bed thats too tall for them
