  • You're not supposed to immerse them in water until after it falls off, so yeah - sponge bath.

  • As much as you are probabaly excited... I wouldnt sumerse the cord... I am not sure why but you are not supposed to...only spongebathing...

  • I think the reason they say not to give real baths is because the dirty water might infect the stub. I would just wait, and give spongebaths until it falls off.

  • I believe my doctor told me not to give a real bath because the cord being wet would more than likely cause infection.
