Hiccups and throwing up?

My DD is 6wks old and gets the hiccups often after she eats ( I BF) sometimes she throws up after or during them. She cries a little during them and almost looks like she feels better after she gets sick. I hate to see this happen to her. Sometimes it happens for afew days in a row than not at all for like a week. I have tried proping or holding her up right but it does'nt help.

  • She will probably outgrow it soon.
But if the hiccups seem to bother her, try Gripe Water. You can find it at most drug stores, in the baby medicine section, the antiacid section, or just ask the pharmacist. My daughter HATED the hiccups. I knew she hated them before she was even born! And Gripe Water got rid of them every time.
