  • no i dont believe it actually HELPS you get pregnant...
BUT it is very good to take, start taking 3 months before you conceive , new studies show to start taking it one year before conceiving to prevent pre-term labor. but at least 3 months to prevent the neural tube defects.
if you eat a lot of leafy greens and foods with folate or folic acid then your doing good. many people dont start taking prenatals until they find out they are pregnant.

  • It won't help you get pregnant. But it will get you in a rountine of taking it everyday, so the moment you get pregnant, the baby is getting that folic acid. It's just one of the extra vitamins that good for a baby. They say a women trying to get pregnant, should be taking folic acid and her prenatal vitamin everyday!
    good luck to you!

  • It doesn't help you concieve, it helps prevent many birth defects. I would start taking it immediately if your trying to concieve.
