  • My kids normally say "bottom", but I don't care if they say "butt"

  • Umm butt is better than ass. lol yeah we let them say butt here. I don't think it is bad unless they call some one a butthead or someother thing like that

  • We say hiney, butt and bum. I see nothing wrong with any of those words. We also say vagina and penis. None of those are "swear" words.

  • My daughter says butt. I think it's cute for her to be going over her different body parts and say, "Head, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, neck, chest, tummy, BUTT!" She also calls her diaper rash ointment "butt paste".

  • I'm fine with butt since its just the shortened form of the actual word. I know some people are easily offended but I'm not really down with puritanical vilifying of body parts, sorry.

  • Yep, mine says butt. I don't see anything wrong with it, afterall it is the abbreviated form of the correct word - buttocks. LOL.

  • Butt isn't a bad word, its a short from buttocks which is the TECHNICLE word for your rear end! You should be teaching your children correct words, and not to be ashamed of there body parts. By "cringing" over the word butt your making a big deal out of a body part. what if she had said, "the slide made my swimsuit go up my vagina." would you have acted any differently?
