Do you believe their story?

Authorities are working around the clock to find Indiana 2-year-old Jada Justice, who was reported missing two weeks ago.

The girl was last seen June 16, when her 18-year-old cousin Eugelica Castillo left her in the car while she bought a gallon of milk at a gas station store in Gary, Ind., the Post Tribune reported.

Castillo was watching Justice since June 8 while her 27-year-old mother was on a trip, according to the newspaper. She was briefly held as a person if interest, but was released.

But other customers told police they saw no one around Castillo's 1991 maroon Cadillac Fleetwood while it was parked in the lot.

And police dogs brought into the search found no scent in the immediate area.

Gary police also questioned Castillo's boyfriend, who complained he had suffered some serious burns recently.

  • As much as I'd like to believe them, how many stories like this have come out and it turns out that they were the ones who did it? It's hard to believe anyone's story in situations like this.

  • I think that either accidentally or on purpose, they killed her. It is just all too suspicious for them not to be involved in any way.
