  • Aetna. We got our own plan since my husband's work doesn't offer one (too few people) and I'm a SAHM.

  • Golden Rule. I checked on an insurance website where you could compare cost and coverage. I've had it for 6 or 7 years now, and am quite satisfied.

  • Badgercare from the state of Wisconsin (I am on it too). It is a type of medicaid for the working poor that doesn't have access to AFFORDABLE healthcare. Depending on household income, there are premiums and copays but they are very affordable. I don't have to decide between food and medical coverage.
