What lotion was your preference on preventing stretch-marks?

I've tried Palmer's Cocoa Butter, but I was wondering if anyone else preferred anything else over that. I got stretch marks the first time, not bad, but I still like the idea of using lotion that could potentially help me. I'm also taking vitamins, and foods with vitamins that are good for skin and elasticity. Drinking water, and having mixed vegetable/fruit smoothies because I believe the most benefit comes from within. Any pointers or recommendations on lotions or foods?

  • Straight vitamin E oil rubbed on the belly every day really helps--at least it did for me with my 2nd pregnancy.

  • some people dont ever get stretch marks. there really is nothing to prevent them but keeping them moisturized may help with itching or irritation

  • I used Burts Bees Cocoa butter and never got a stretch mark. Also I had vitamin E liquid tablets that I would pop open and rub them on my stomach whenever it started itching really bad. I got them from my mother but I have no idea where she got them.
    I didn't have a special diet really.... just ate what I craved.GL
