What is a good thing to use for my sons diaper rash?

I have a cream i have been using but its so bad its starting to bleed! I feel so bad i dont know what to do. He is never sitting in a wet diaper or anything im always changing him as soon as i know he is wet. I even wake him up to change him. I had him laying down but nacked to try to dry him out but thats not helping either please help i feel so bad.

  • Just use the cornstarch like you would baby powder it keeps his little bottom dry. My son had the same problem, if you are breastfeeding it might be something you are eating or drinking. I know I had to cut all caffeine and citrus out of my diet for my son. What cream are you using?

  • Maybe it yeast? if it is cream won't help you can try cornstarch that might help

  • a cool bath then put petroleum jelly on his tush,no baby wipes just wet cloths with water sold at CVS! baby wipes will sting! or use a washcloth no baby wipes!!!!

  • get cloth diapers tomarrow to help his burn heal change often use tea tree oil with olive oil if it looks infected or is painful, tea tree is really good at healing and reducing pain, not on privates though.?

  • maybe he is allergic to babywipes or the dipers they do have chemicals? use cotten balls and go really natural with him, it is not your fault he prob just has super -sensitive skin like my daughter had at birth it scared me bad too! look on amazon for cloth diapers?

  • Its just a walmart brand cream. I use the a&d also but he just got circumcised today so i was told not to use any powder till it heals so i dont think i can do the cornstarch yet. I just stoped breast feeding about 4 days ago because im dry and not producing any more. And its been like this for a while now and nothing seems to be helping. Could him being constipated make a difference with this?
