i feel so bad...

i have a friend in another neighborhood thats had some problem with1 neighbor.i really dont get it the whole neighborhood is now alienating her?she doesnt get it she hasnt done anything to anyone else/they are all like sheep. fortunatly i am not friends with any of these people.my question is why is the whole neighborhood alienating her or going along with the group she wanted me to ask and mmaybe find some answers cause i am truly tired of trying to validate her all the time...

  • she had a fight with a neighbor and just never got along with her i dont get it???its 2 sided they both dont like each other but the neighbors have taken to one side???i feel bad...i even feel funny going over there knowing nobody likes her????

  • Well without all of the information, it sounds like they all just sided with the other neighbor. Maybe she lived there longer or was closer with the neighbors than your friend. If she wants it to get better she is going to have to go directly to the source and try to make peace with the one that the conflict is with. It doesn't sound like she can just be friends with the other folks and not the one she fought with. If she doesn't want to make nice then she doesn't have to, but as all of our actions have consequences, she'll have to deal with being the disliked family on the block.

  • People ARE sheep... too many of them anyhow. It is why religion has been so successful at controlling populations. And *shunning* is as old as humanity as a way for a society to punish what it considers it's wayward members...

  • this woman (my friend)has apologized several times and nothing.she said she also caught this woman in some lies.the other woman says she does dont want to make up and doesnt feel as if she has to apologize for anything?weird.
