Does anyone know the number I'm supposed to call to reset my phone for Verizon?

Apparently there is a number that you are supposed to call once a month that resets the towers so your phone uses less battery life. Anyone know what it is?

  • I just did mine.... thanks for the reminder. After you dial *228 press 2. Hold while it's being programmed.

  • I'd like to know why no one ever told me about this! I've had verizon for almost 2 months and they never mentioned anything about it!

  • I never knew, and we've had Verizon for over 3 years....and we've moved from VA to CA and are now in TX without ever resetting...thanks!
