got a question about milk jug bird feeders

I have a bunch of milk jugs I've been wanting to use to make bird feeders, but I didnt save the caps...for future reference: do I need to save the caps? or will they do fine without it. I can see where the caps play an important role in avoiding the seeds from flooding out during a rain storm....

  • very easy! it's considered a kids craft also! you basically cut out a huge section to pour the bird seed and make it accessible for birds, then poke a hole on two opposite sides under the cut out piece and insert a dowel rod!
