Is it safe to use Orajel on your gums while pregnant?

My wisdom teeth are coming in and tylenol is NOT helping and my gum/teeth hurt SO bad! Is it okay for me to use orajel? I am almost 30 weeks pregnant

  • i went in to the hospital to get something for a cavity while i was preg. they said to use oragel and gave me some vicodin, i was 36 weeks. and they said oragel would have been ok at any point.

  • When our daughter was an infant, my husband had a terrible impacted wisdom tooth. The dentist gave him tylenol with codeine, and it did not help at all. I convinced him to try the baby's Hyland's teething tabs, and they really worked (he is 6', 250#).
