You should avoid lunch meats, deli meats, etc because of the very real possibility of getting listeria, which can lead to miscarriage or still birth. Better safe than sorry. No raw meats of any kind including fish in sushi, smoked seafood also because of listeria, raw eggs, soft or unpasteurized cheeses, unpasteurized milk or juices, and be sure to wash your fruits and veggies before you eat them because they could be contaminated with toxoplasmosis, which could cause premature birth, low birth weight, fever, jaundice, abnormalities of the retina, mental retardation, abnormal head size, convulsions, and brain calcification.
