  • My friend FF her daughter at about 7 months because she outgrew her infant seat and her parents bought her a FFing only seat, her daughter was the right weight but still, I tried to tell her that the local fire department would trade the infant seat for a convertible but she was determined she needed to save it for her next child....made me very sad, thank god she never had an accident, course her kids were also in booster seats early too

  • wow ok you guys....I understand not extended rearfacing your child...I mean I ERF but as long as the law is followed AND the carseat manufacturers specifications are followed I can't complain....this means RF to 1 and 20lbs and harness to atleast 40lbs....those are minimums set by carseat manufacturers for now..why is so hard for people to follow directions?

Why are we attacking each other over straight forward laws and directions? Oh yeah because people don't want to follow them....
