Anyone else diagnosed with Osteporosis BEFORE menopause.

I received my diagnosis 2 years ago at age 38 t-score -4. No matter how hard I look I can only find info and treatments for post menopausal women. I know I can't be the only one.

Do any of you share my diagnosis and have you been able to get any info lifestyle and otherwise?

  • Contrary to what the dairy and meat industries want you to believe, animal products are bad for your bones. Here are a couple of great articles for you: http://www.pcrm.org/health/prevmed/building_bones.html

  • I did and was started on fosamax. I also took a good quality calcium/magnesium/vit D supplement, and increased weight bearing exercise (walking, dancing, aerobics.) Now I no longer have the condition. Talk with your gyn or general practitioner for advice.

  • I have looked into fsemax but because I am breastfeeding and we are considering having another baby I was told I can't take it.
