  • I'm measuring really big for mine as well. I personally think they messed up my due date but that's just my opinion. Feel free to msg me with any questions and maybe I can help! I'm 36 weeks along :)

  • It's not a really good indicator of how big your baby is. We do not grow our babies too big to birth. Please don't think your baby is going to be too big. It depends on what position baby is in, who measured you, etc.

  • Well They did the belly measurments and ultrasounds. The ultrasound is what they used to determine that he was big and measurments were all big.

  • I measured big with my second. 3 wks ahead since about the 2nd trimester. I had to be induced because of pre-eclampsia so they did an ultrasound before they induced and said he was about 8.5 lbs but he was born 6lbs 13 oz. I guess most of it was bloating. Try not to worry, like the pp said we won't birth babies we can't handle.

  • Sadira29. How early were you induced?

  • I was measuring 2-3 weeks ahead most of the last trimester but around week 36 I finally slowed down and only measured a week ahead. He was born at 39 weeks weighing 9lbs! My friend on the other hand measured 3-4 weeks ahead every time and her baby was only 7lbs but the dr said she had a ton of amniotic fluid. They weighed her after delivery and she had already lost almost 20lbs just from all the extra fluid etc.
