6oz of water + 3 scoops of formula = 8oz of milk

So how much is she drinking? 6 oz? Or 8 oz?

  • when i intend to make 6 oz it says its about 7 oz, so when we go to the doc i tell them i made 6 oz. but if you read the formula can and it tells you how to make it in bulk (like a big pitcher of it) it says something along the lines of "put 23 oz water to 1/2 cup powder and you have 32 oz formula" so i'm assuming that means that when i make 6 and it says 7 he's drinking 7. does that make any sense? (oh and those "directions" are just a guess i don't remember the exact amounts so don't use that anyone!)

  • I think it's still considered 6 oz....that's why you pour the water first, b/c that's the liquid volume.

  • It's 6oz of formula even though it goes up after you put the powder in. :]
