What to do for 2 year olds birthday

My son Is turning two. Im having and elmo birthday and his party is going to be about 35 to 40 people. ALL close family, there are about 15 kids from the ages 2 to 16. They are really interactive with each other like older kids hang out with younger kids. Im just wondering though what Kind of Games should I do? Someone suggested three legged race or water balloon toss?

  • we got a blow-up kiddie pool and brought a bag of 250 balls (two bags would be nicer yet!) and let them go at it! The ball pit was just one of the attractions. We also had a swimming pool for their use. We got a lot of bubbles and sidewalk chalk and let all of the kids scribble on the pavement (as long as road traffics aren't a threat). They all had fun. The older ones mainly entertained the little ones, though. This was at my son's 1st bday party. You could also get a sand box and water activity table. Thats always a hit.

  • Take them to the park and let them run wild! Worked for mine.

  • Maybe cupcake decorating or make your ice cream sundae. Also, any time you can incorporate water it is a good idea (slip and slide, sprinkler, etc...) Have FUN!!
