Self esteem is really just loving yourself and seeing that you are a person of worth. I think one of the things that contributes to low self esteeem is the comparison of ourselves with others. In order to stop doing that, it might be helpful for you to sit down with pen and paper and make a list of your talents and abilities. Don't think in any other terms other than what you are good at. The list could include things like being a good cook, a good wife, a good mom, a good friend, a good housekeeper. When you have finished your list, be thankful for each gift that you have and realize that all these abilities make you who you are, a unique individual, unlike anyone else on earth. These are the things that make you especially you. You are one of a kind and special in every way. Now you can take those abilities and go out and change the world, if that's what you choose to do.
