sweet peas

did anyone elses son or daughter ever have a reaction to sweet peas? my daughter was throwing up bad just a little bit ago and it scared me so bad.. i cried! =[
is sweet peas a common veggie to have a reaction too or what? cuz shes been perfectly fine with everything else

  • Ordinary green garden peas [pisum sativum] are harmless - our 2-year-old loved to eat them almost every day. Their young pods often called petit pois are delicious for adults but children rarely bother with them. None of the above should ever be called sweet peas - they have no perfume.

    BUT true Sweet Peas - lathyrus odoratus, the popular climbers with pretty, scented flowers - have seeds and other parts that are poisonous - could it be that your daughter got some of these owing to a misunderstanding?
