i am 200lbs and i want to know show i be doing sit up and longs and lifting weight and things like that now or should i weight intill i losse weight?

  • Yes, work out now. Cardio and weight training. Building muscle will boost your metabolism and cardio will burn calories.

  • Cardio is most important, and you should be doing more of it than of the weight training, but definitely keep it in your schedule. I wouldn't worry so much about sit ups. That should come after as a toning thing. Strengthen muscles before you tone them.

  • You should always check with your doctor before beginning exercises. You doctor will know about risk factors such as heart or blood pressure problems, spinal problems, organ problems, like that. Assuming you have checked with your doctor, probably it would be fine for you to start very slowly and build up gradually with your curl ups, and weight lifting, walking, swimming. If you can afford it, hire a personal trainer for a few consultations anyway. This all is just my opinion and you must be guided by your doctor.
