  • I'm going to have either a deli meat buffet or BBQ. Like put out a bunch of lunch meat, cheese, condiments, buns, and maybe pasta salad or something. BBQ would probably have chicken, burgers, and hot dogs. ummm.... fruit salad, pasta salad, potato salad, chips, pickle tray (different kinds of pickles and olives) Maybe some finger foods if you are going to have a lot of little kids.

  • chips & dip, crackers, finger sandwiches, fruit...though really at those times it would not be unheard of to just offer the cake and ice cream since it is technically between meal times. No since in making a huge fuss over food unless you just want to . Light snacks and cake .

  • We did ours from 1 until about 6 (when everyone finally left) we did pot luck. We supplied the hot dogs and hamburgers and we had everyone bring something else. Someone brought a fruit salad, baked beans, pin wheels, ketchup, mustard, soda, plates, plastic wear. You get the idea. It helped cut costs a ton. I hope you all have fun.

  • We just did one from 3-6p and served a full meal but we also eat dinner at 6p and everyone else I know does too. We did chicken skewers, baked ziti, pigs-in-a-blanket, antipasta tray, cheese & cracker tray, snacks like goldfish etc for the kids, cake, fruit, and drinks. I just made everything ahead of time and had Daddy out at the grill doing the skewers.

I'd say what you serves really depends on if you have more adults or more children at the party. And also what is on sale the weeks before the party to save $$ where you can :D
