  • Are you in a apartment or house? If apartment call your manager and if a house call the plumber, and ask. This is off the subject but my toilet used to smell terrible like rotten eggs and they found out it was a leaky gas pipe that controls the toilet or something.Could be similar to what you have going on.

  • Copper water pipes are sometimes affected by copper corrosion which causes the water to turn blue. They don't know why this happens except that the pipes maybe old. Look up copper corrosion or copper corrosion blue water for more info.

  • I would def replace your pipes. I know when we bought our house we had old copper pipes and they were bad. Its one of those things that doent get fixed unless they have to be. But i would strongly recommend some pvc or hpvc. Then you don't ever have to worry about corrosion.
