How much sleep are they getting??

now that summer is here?? Mine are doing the same bedtime as they do in school.. Yours?

  • Keeping them on the same routine in the summer, greatly helps when school starts. Mine is just about on the same schedule, because he has summer camp, while I work.

  • My son stays up about an hour later than normal and sleeps later in the morning. He is 13 so I pretty much let him chose his bedtime. He averages 8-12 hours of sleep a night, depending on if he is going through a growth spurt or his daily activities.

  • i am a little more relaxed about bedtime if there is something on they wanna watch but most nights its still 8 pm i dont deal well with tired cranky kids they have a schedule they dont ususally do well when i break it

  • Generally, the bedtime is extended half an hour during the summer unless it is a special occasion. He will usually get himself up about half an hour after I would wake him during the school year. He is 7 and gets about 10 hours of sleep a night.
