should We change our tampon after every pee?

  • If you pee every hour or so NO, you will just irratate that area. It should not be worn more than 8 hours, but changing every 4-6 hours is a good habbit to get into. Now if you are a heavy bleeder and soaking through them in a few hours you need to go up to the next level, if that doesnt help, then yeah change more often.

  • FYI: you dont pee from the same hole the tampon is in...I am not saying you didnt know this but some girls think it all happens in the same hole.

  • I have to, cuz when I pee I get the tampon wet.

  • If the string gets wet, you should change it. A wet tampon string acts like a wick for bacteria; this is what causes Toxic Shock Syndrome or TSS
