What's the best OTC drug for c-section pain

I had mine almost 5 1/2 weeks ago but it's still hurting. I'm about to run out of my prescribed pain meds and wondering what the best OTC replacement is... Thanks!

  • Motrin (ibuprofen) and you can take 800mg...same as the prescription stuff, you just have to take 4

  • Tylenol and Motrin...
    Take 3 or 4 motrin (600-800 mg) every 6 hours
    And 3 regular tylenol every 6 hours
    You can space them so that you are taking something every 3 hours... so Tylenol then Motrin then Tylenol....

  • i agree with AmiJanell taking tylenol and the motrin every 3 hours really worked for me. also what i found really helped me was keeping a ice pack on my belly when i was just sitting around. I cant believe they gave you enough meds for 5 weeks i was sent home with 3 days worth of meds.
