What could you do to be a better parent?

After all, no one is perfect, right?

Just curious to see some answers. :)

  • I think with the next one I'll try to document things more. Like someone asked me the other day what my sons first word was, and I honestly don't remember. I never had time to do a baby book with him cause I was working, going to school and a single parent. With the next one my goal is to document everything, and own a camcorder to take video. I have tons of pictures of my son, but no video, and looking back I wish I would've made that stuff priority.

  • Make more time for myself. My daughter comes first, but I have an identity aside from being a mother. I need to make sure I get some "me" time every day.
