  • Not if you read it in order. The books of the Bible are grouped according to content and type of document.

    I don't believe the Bible was compiled for the purpose of being a completely acurate timeline.

  • the Bible is not in chronological order. most Bible scholars are in agreement with that. for example, Psalms was written by David, whose life is talked about in the books of Samuel. also, ive heard that Job is to have taken place before Joseph went to Egypt.

    the books are grouped as such: history, poetry, major prophets, & minor prophets...hmm i think im missing one.
