Who does this???

http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/49561342.html
The short version - drunk idiot drives a motorcycle without a license at double the legal limit, wipes out and kills his girlfriend. He is accidentally released from the hospital and goes drinking again before he is arrested. His job (he's a bartender) is holding a fundraiser...for him. They have fliers saying he was "in a tragic accident" and is unable to work or get insurance, so asking people to show up for a day of free beer, bikini motorcycle wash and bachelor auction. Jeez, what a perfect way to honor the guy who got drunk and killed his girlfriend by driving a motorcycle without a license. Way more appropriate than say, a fundraiser for her family, to cover funeral expenses, since their buddy did kill her and all...

  • You can't blame him! It's a disease! It's not his fault! *sarcasm*

Personally, I'm willing to support him 100% and pay all his costs and medical expenses, ONCE he is BEHIND PRISON BARS for vehicular homicide.

  • He belongs in prison and deserves no sympathy. The girlfriend paid for her stupidity with her life now his turn to pay.

  • Ok, now all of you go give your kids the lecture about NEVER getting in or on a vehicle when the driver has been drinking.

Bars are dysfunctional places to work. Not a whole lot of decency and common sense at the bottom of a martini glass.
