Anonymous - is that one of those pagan ritual things that Catholics do?
A Catechism is just a summary of the doctrine, practices and/or beliefs of a religion. Often it is in question/answer form, but not always. (The Catholic Baltimore Catechism was in Q&A form, the current Catholic Catechism is not.) Since pagans have incredibly varied beliefs I doubt there is a catechism for pagans. But Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists have them - and probably some other faiths as well. Many scholars view the Didache as the first Christian Catechism (it was written as early at 50-70 CE).
