does walking really help...

ok i'm dilated to 3cm already and my doctor told me to walk to help bring labor on, well today i walked almost 2 miles and i'm just wondering does walking really help bring labor on or not?

  • For some, absolutely. With my first, it did no good at all. But with my second, I have been without a car and all the walking I did, I'm sure had to do with the fact that I went into labor.

  • I think this should help.. although by the time you get this.. you'll probably be on your way to the hospital or already have your new baby..
