Not walking at 1 year old?

My DD will be one next Saturday. She will not even attempt to walk. She pulls to standing on everything, and even will stand w/o holding sometimes, but instead of trying to walk she will sit down and crawl. My son walked at 10 months, so I am kind of concerned. How old were your kids when they decided to walk?

  • My DD is 13 months old and she just started pulling herself up on the couch. My doctor told me not to worry she will be walking in no time. But i do know how you feel i thought she would be walking by now to. Both of my step-children were walking by 10 months but like they say every child is different.

  • I wasn't 13 months until I started walking. And my niece was like 14-15 months before she started walking. They learn at their own pace!

  • my daughter was walking at 8 1/2 months which is extremely early. i know plenty of babies who didnt start walking until after the one year mark. every baby is different.. no need to worry. she'll start to walk when she's ready.

  • My son was almost 15 months when finally started walking. Don't rush her, she'll get it eventually.

  • my neice walked at 16 months!!!

my daughter and son at 9-1/2 and 10 months respectively.

It is far weirder to have a 9 or 10month old baby walking and running around the house - it looks like a baby walking -really weird!!

just dont enable her. if she wants something let her got get it for herself -

she will be walkling the rest of her life -- relax dont worry!!!
