When YOU apply makeup, do you use makeup brushes, or do you just wing it with whatever you can find?

I got money for my birthday, and I'm going to invest in some good makeup brushes muahahaha.

  • Right now I only have ONE brush that I use for all-over powder. I'm just now getting into more intricate makeup techniques, and I'm going to need brushes for it.

  • I have always lived in a house with babies.. Brushes and anything that applys makeup to my face disappears shortly after I get them. The girls love playing with them and running off with em..

  • I use brushes because they just feel better. I use sponges for foundation when I wear it-- it's too messy on a brush. The softest brushes I found were actually at Target-- and they were pretty cheap. I have brushes from all kinds of places, and I was very surprised at the quality from Target.

  • if you wear liquid foundation... buy a foundation brush. they are typically pretty expensive but make the foundation soooooooo light on your skin. i never wear it (foundation) anymore, but have some awesome brushes from mac.
