Did you ever raid your mom's makeup box when you were a kid?

Or have your kids raided YOURS yet?

I was obsessed with the musical CATS when I was about nine or ten. I stole my mom's black and white eyeshadow palette, her black eyeliner, and her mascara, and I painted my face like one of the characters.

Ohhh, you should have seen me trying to scrub it off...

  • lol. I use to raid my mom's make up all the time..

but.. now I know how she feels.. my DD is 18 months old.. she's already trying on my heels, trying to get into my makeup to put it on, etc etc.. she's such a girly girl, it's not funny. lol.

  • Yep, all the time. She would always leave us notes on our bathroom mirror with lipstick and her "kiss" marks if she had to leave before we got up.

I remember lots of blue eyeliner, blush, and pink or red lipsticks that I was always putting on when I was between 6 and 11.

  • I remember my mom yelling at us to keep off the bed so she could apply her mascara. We just really wanted to watch her put it on. My 15 has her own makeup, but she doesn't pack it on like some of the teens I see around town. She's not trampy.
