What creative hobbies do you have?

I love to hear about different hobbies. I like quilting, painting, knitting, and doing crafts with my daughter.

What are some of your hobbies?

Do you go to craft fairs, or just do them for fun?

  • I have my first craft fair coming up in August. I make custom TuTu's, flower headbands and accessories for babies, toddlers and girls. I also just started making Super Hero capes for boys with their names on them

  • I used to make baskets. I did for 22 years and burned out. I may pick it up again but not right now. I taught basketmaking at the college and the senior centers, and I sold baskets at craft shows. My baskets are all over the world. It got to be a chore, though, instead of a pleasure, and at one point I just couldn't bring myself to work on them anymore. I gave away 95% of my supplies, enough for a small shop.

  • i like to knit but I also sew by hand I'm in no rush and I just can't use a sewing machine. also I love to do scrapbooks the old fashioned way---just glue pictures on paper. I have my old ones from my youth like the Beatles & I did a bunch for my daughter. Also I like to take old books and create a scrapbook or a box. Its fun

  • I just took up knitting and crocheting. My first project is a blanket for my daughter's dolls. I'm creative, but wanted something easy that didn't cost a lot or take up to much space. I also got a knitting for profit book. If I get good I might sell them at local stores. I'm enjoying it.

  • I have severe craft ADD, so I do tons of crafts. Painting, jewelry, crosstitch, making paper, metal crafts, paper mosaics, some stamping, water colors, sewing, embroidery, basically anything. Except I don't knit, crochet, or do scrapbooking. My husband has threatened me with harm if I bring anymore craft stuff home. LOL. I also save anything and everything because I can do something with it. Newspapers for paper mache, magazines for paper mosaics, lamp shades from thrift stores, junk mail for making paper. I tell you I am addicted. What sucks is my daddy passed away last year and my mama moved in with us taking my craft room. All my craft stuff had to go into storage because we don't have any room. So all I have been basically able to do for the past year is crosstitch and sew, and it is killing me. But I am still bringing home all this junk.

  • I knit and sew mostly. I used to make a lot of cards and crafts with rubber stamps, but it's too hard with a baby. I also paint and draw when I have time and find inspiration.
