does anyone babysit through the millitary (Navy, san diego area)

i have been a navy wife for three years now and have twin girls (2 years). i am also expecting a third girl in october. i was wanting to start babysitting through the Navy in January or so. i was wondering...

what have your experiences been like?? how much do you get paid per child?? what qualifications do you need to have?? what kind of training?? any and all information would be greatly appreciated!!

  • im army but generaly same. you have to be qualification......strict housing inspections and i mean strict. if you live in apts your stairwells geti nspected and its your duty to keep them up to par. you have to have sleeping arrangments for the kids, ie a crib or travel crib. no couches etc. do not count. you have to ample toys and entertainment for them. you have to take classes for the have to follow suggested meal plans, only so many kids per age group are allowed and this inclues your own kids......lets say you want to do infants-toddlers. only 4 kids, that counts your own children . it all depends per age group. the usual pay is 3-4 dollars per hour
