4 month old on airplane, any suggestions??

I have to take my 4 month old son on a plane ride cross country tomorrow night, just wondering if anyone has any do's/don'ts for the flight. never flown with an infant before so any help/ideas are appreciated. thanks ladies.

  • Definitely bottle or breast during take off and landing. Pick a flight time that is when baby is normally sleeping...with any luck you'll feed on the way up, pass out with the roar of the engine and wakeup towards the end of the flight. Also - don't check your stroller with your can check it at the gate. If your flight is delayed for any reason, you'll be glad you have you can pick it up as soon as you de-plane. If baby is teething, bring lots of teething related items for chewing. Other than that, you should be good.

  • If he is breastfed feed him on take off and landing..if he is bottle fed make sure to give him a bottle during take off and landing.
