  • Low carb/no carb diets just pretty much eliminate sugar/bread/rice/potatoes/pasta. Stick to natural high fiber foods like fresh/steamed veggies and cereals like All Bran. Eliminate dairy products except for cheeses. Cut out most fruits and juices except for apples, pears, or peaches.
Breakfast: make an omelet of 2 egg whites, 1 whole egg, chopped peppers, onions, tomatoes, or top the omelet with a bit of salsa. Vegetable or spinach frittata is also a great idea.
Lunch: Huge chef salad with at least 2 oz. of a protein
Dinner: source of protein like lean chicken or beef or cooked dried beans or lentils, steamed/fresh veggies (at least 1/2 plateful), tossed salad. Some of my favorites were stir fry served over cooked lentils and spaghetti sauce (no sugar) served over lentils or chicken breast.

You can go to and search for low carb, no carb, South Beach recipes. It's free to join and use!

  • What does this HCG shot do? That sounds painful! LOL me being a freak about pointy things. LOL I've not heard of this.

Eating low carb and controlling your portions, if this is something that you are not currectly doing, should give you loss right up front. You might want to try this before you begin paying for an expensive doctors plan. Then if you plateau you could start the shots?
