  • He is probably just starting to go through teething. Give him some plastic rings or keys or teething rings or something good for him to be chewing on and hell work his way through for his teeth to come in. Good things for teething time, always have anbesol! lol really just incase if you dont want to use it all of the time. My DD loved the things I have listed below, especially the pulsating teether. check out these great items! Hope this helps!

  • Let him chew unless it is dangerous because babies learn through their mouths. don't worry he will get through the oral stage but i've read that babies who explore more texture when they are infants are more intelligent later in life.

  • the first poster's response was excellent. I wouldn't worry about the chewing.....your LO may be teething, but may also be exploring....both are obviously completely natural! Let them be, in fact, ds used to love chewing on realllyyyyyy cold teething rings more than anything else!

  • Suck it up!! He he. He may be teething and can benefit from a soft toy with teething attachments. I paticularly like the Lamaze Moose. Or he could be "mouthing." This is how little babies learn about the world. Starts at 4 months and who know when it stops. Let him enjoy it unless it is dangerous. Yesterday I went to the shops and only noticed when I got home that my DD had chewed my shoulder and left all her sweet potato there. I was one HOT MAMA!!!!!!!!!! Oh welll... her laugh makes it worthwhile

  • This is what babies do! Your job is to just make sure the only things in his reach are okay for him to chew on!
