my 1 year old DD- she will be 1 in a week, is badly constipated...

is there anything i can use for her constipation? she cries everytime she poos, i dont have any money right now. any home remedies? i dont have any prune juice either. =(

  • This happened to a friend of mine on her daughter's first birthday at her birthday party she was horribly constipated. I'm sorry you don't have any money right now but the way my friend cured her daughter's was to buy an infant suppository (spelling?).

  • Corn syrup works. A capful every few times a week.
    Peaches, apricots, pears, and pears will also relieve her constipation.
    If she is on rice cereal - ease out of it for just a few days. It will stop her up more.
    Also, using a warm rag and stimulating her anus will help relax her muscles and allow trapped gas and feces to escape.

  • almost any fruit will help, especially if it is a "juicy" fruit or any type of juice, including apple
