  • have you ever bought anything online before? amazon, barnes and noble or any other bookstore will have an option to buy online. search for the book you want, then just click "add to cart," then "checkout," and follow all the prompts for payment and shipping. easy peasy.

  • I order from amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com all the time.
Look for the book you want in the blank rectangle near the top of the page, type in your title, author, etc. and click go. Then choose your book and on the right side it says add to shopping cart. When you are ready to check out, you click a button also on the right, under the shopping cart box, that says checkout. Then you have to sign in or register. You don't have to register, but it does same time on future visits. After you've logged in, fill out the forms, choose shipping speed (and cost) check that your address is right and what you want is correct and your credit card information is correct, then click Complete Order. You'll get an email almost immediately confirming the order, and one later on when it is shipped.

  • Amazon.com is super great for buying books! Also you have the option to buy used at Amazon, and sometimes you can get them for really cheap.

    1. Go to Amazon.com, and click the books category on the left side.
    2. If you have a certain title you want, type the name in the Amazon search bar on the top.
    3. When you find your book click the Used & New link in the box below the description (I usually go with the lowest price).
    4. Click "Add to Cart" button on the far right for the book you want.
    5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you're ready to check out.
    6. Click "Cart" button up top next to the search bar.
    7. Make an account, and check out!

    Easy as that!

  • What the pp's said. If you have questions or problems you can also go to the site's FAQ page to see if that can answer any questions you have. I use Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Borders all the time.

  • at your library they can usually order the books you want from a nearby library. Ours does that all the time (if you dont want to buy them). You can just go to the library and they will have it sent to them from another library in the network, then they call you when they have it and you can check it out.

Simply look for the books you want, add them to your cart, and checkout. You'll need a credit card.
