What would be different if McCain had won?

I say not much, when you look at our country realistically.

  • For one things, we'd have a seasoned veteran senator, who KNOWS about our government, and how it works, and what needs to be done. We'd also have a war hero, instead of a coward. He wouldn't have been perfect by any means, but he'd of been a whole HELL of a lot better than what we are dealing with.

  • You didn't really answer the question. What would be different? Obviously someone else would be in office but what exactly would be so different?

  • There's really no way of knowing...since you can't prove a negative. "What if's" are about as effective as "waiting and seeing!!!" LOL

  • We would have bombed N. Korea which would have caused a thrid world war to break out....Iran would pounce in response and with most of our troops in that sand trap we would be scrambling...

How can say this with 100% certainty? You can't. Because it's your OPINION, based on your DISLIKE for the man.

  • Yeah, sweets, Lori is the only one with a crystal ball around here.
I wonder if McCain would have bombed, bombed, bombed Iran, too.

  • I obviously don't know for sure but I think there would have been no stimulus, no gay partner/benefits, and we may have already done something to N Korea. Oh, and we'd be in Iraq until the end of days possibly.

    Who knows..

  • Since he sang a song about it and performed it live while campaigning I'll take him at his word. Also, he was a free spender too with economy as his weak point (his own assertion) spot...where do YOU think we would be??

  • Lori was right at :50.

I imagine if McCain had won we would have a few questions asking 'what would have been different if Obama had won'? There really is no point in wondering what would have been, because it will never be.

It's about as productive as sitting in my house wondering what it would be like if a 747 dropped through my roof.

Sweet-a-kins, I wonder why you would take a politician (any politician) at his word?  I ask because I don't trust a single politician out there at their word.
