  • There are some people I can always tell. I work with a beautiful lady, who lost her son tragically 3 years ago. Yet, she doesn't blame God in any way. In fact, if anything, it made her and her husband's faith stronger. She is someone I always see God shining through, and her courage and strength are an inspiration to me. She's the first one that came to mind when I read this.

  • I hope I reflect Jesus truly. I don't cuss or break the commandments, I try to always act with love and compassion. I confess, however, that I don't wear a cross, just in case I should slip up and allow my essential, fallible humanity to show through in spite of my best intentions. It has become painfully obvious that non-Christians willfully ignore all the good Christians do, all the love they try to show, and focus only on those moments when they fail to be perfect, using them as "proof" that Christianity is full of hypocrites. It is sad that normal human failure should be misconstrued as hypocrisy. On the other hand, I am proud to be a "hypocrite" when it means that I am aspiring to be truly good, according to a demanding and worthy morality. That is far better than being content to live without any morality that pushes me to be better than I naturally am.

  • I always try to let the light of Jesus shine through me , even when I'm around rude people. I hope that I am successful, but I'm sure there are times that I'm not.

  • That reminds me of this song:

I want to be a window to His love
So when you look at me you will see Him
I want to be so pure and clear
That you won't even know I'm here
'Cause His love will shine brightly through me

I want to be a doorway to the truth
So when you walk beyond you will find Him
I want to stand so straight and tall
That you won't notice me at all
But through my open door He will be seen

    Chorus
    A window to His love
    A doorway to the truth
    A bearer of the message
He'd have me bring to you
    And with each passing day
    I want to fade away
'Till only He can be seen
And I become a window to His love

I want to be a window to His love
So you can look through me and you'll see Him
And some day shining through the glass
    You'll see His loving countenance
'Cause I will have become like He is

  • A window to His love
    A doorway to the truth
    A bearer of the message
He'd have me bring to you.
    And with each passing year
    I want to disappear
    'Till He's become everything
And I've become a window to His love

  • Here, I found a video of that song "A window to his love"

It's not the professional female voice version, but these boys are sweet with their little spanish accents.
